Job Description
An Airport Ticket Issuer assists passengers with booking, issuing, and managing travel tickets, ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service.
Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance in selecting flight options. Issue, reissue, and refund airline tickets. Ensure accurate entry of passenger details into the system. Inform customers of flight schedule changes and other pertinent information.&
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ticket Booking & Reservation:
- Issue flight tickets and process bookings for domestic and international travel.
- Assist passengers with ticket modifications, cancellations, and rebooking .
- Provide fare details, baggage policies, and travel guidelines to customers.
2. Passenger Assistance & Customer Service:
- Guide passengers through check-in and boarding procedures .
- Address queries regarding flight schedules, seat availability, and baggage policies .
- Handle customer complaints and ensure smooth travel experiences .
3. Payment Processing & Documentation:
- Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or digital transactions .
- Maintain accurate records of ticket sales and passenger details.
- Verify customer identification and travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) .
4. Airline & Airport Coordination:
- Coordinate with airline staff for seat upgrades, flight changes, and passenger requests .
- Assist in handling special travel cases (unaccompanied minors, medical emergencies, VIP passengers, etc.) .
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and airline policies .
