Required Accountant Assistant - Mumbai

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to support the finance department in bookkeeping, financial record management, and daily accounting operations . The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and strong organizational skills . This role involves handling invoices, maintaining financial records, and assisting with tax filings and audits .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Record Management:

• Maintain daily financial transactions and update records.
• Assist in recording income, expenses, and bank transactions .
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial documents .

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process vendor payments and supplier invoices .
• Generate and send customer invoices while following up on payments.
• Assist in debt collection and payment reconciliation .

3. Tax & Compliance Assistance:

• Support in GST, TDS, and other tax calculations & filings .
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and financial policies .
• Help in preparing audit reports and financial statements .

4. Payroll & Expense Management:

• Assist in employee salary processing and reimbursements .
• Maintain records of office expenses and petty cash management .
• Verify employee attendance and deductions for payroll.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare financial summaries and monthly reports .
• Maintain proper documentation of accounting records and receipts .
• Assist senior accountants in budgeting and financial analysis .
