About the Role
Lead the design and implementation of data solutions aligned with Kellton s strategic objectives. This role requires guiding complex Azure-based architectures, managing a specialized team, and enhancing data analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive architectural decisions, demonstrate expertise in modern data technologies, and deliver actionable insights through scalable, cloud-native solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and oversee scalable data architectures using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Data Lake Storage, SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, BI analysts, stakeholders) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory.
Create logical/physical data models and manage cloud data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Document architecture strategies and roadmaps to ensure seamless data accessibility and governance.
Promote data-driven decision-making by improving BI tool integrations and data accessibility.
Qualification
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Mandatory Certification: Snowpro Core.
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified (Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Advanced degrees (Master s, etc.) in relevant fields are advantageous.
Experience - Skills and Competencies
- Technical Expertise
Proficiency in Azure cloud services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Hands-on experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
Familiarity with cloud-native platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

Ability to design end-to-end data solutions and align architecture with business goals.
Strong problem-solving skills for optimizing data pipelines and workflows.

Excellent communication to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Knowledge of Databricks, Python, or PySpark.
