Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify potential issues.
Develop and implement testing strategies that go beyond conventional methods.
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand their methodologies and provide insightful feedback.
Analyze and decompose complex software systems to identify any hidden flaws.
Document and report defects and inconsistencies in the software.
Provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
Maintain a detailed understanding of product specifications and features.
Ensure that final products adhere to the predefined quality standards.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks as needed.
Manual and automated testing of both web and mobile products.
Providing support for the production environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to think creatively and approach testing from unconventional angles.
Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
Testing Skills
Manual Testing: Test case creation, execution, and reporting.
Automated Testing: Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress.
Types of Testing: Functional, Non-functional (Performance, Security), Regression, Integration, UAT, etc.
Programming & Scripting
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Scripting for automation tools or creating custom utilities.
Tools & Platforms
Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr.
Defect Tracking Tools: Clickup, Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis (Any)
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo.
Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling.
SQL proficiency to verify backend data integrity.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-Assured.
Proficiency with Git or similar systems.
Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Strong analytical mindset to understand requirements and identify edge cases.
Root cause analysis to trace defects and recommend fixes.
Ability to document and report bugs clearly and concisely.
