Required Machine Operator - Coimbatore

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of products. This role requires the operator to set up, monitor, and troubleshoot machines to ensure smooth production, as well as ensure the safety and cleanliness of the working area. The ideal candidate should have good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. The role is hands-on, requiring physical stamina and the ability to adapt to fast-paced production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup and Operation

• Set up and adjust machines to meet production specifications.
• Operate machines to produce parts or products according to work orders and production schedules.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain production quality and efficiency.

2. Quality Control

• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure parts or products meet tolerance requirements.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine adjustments to ensure continued quality production.

3. Machine Maintenance and Cleaning

• Perform regular machine checks and preventative maintenance, including lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts as necessary.
• Report major machine malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor.
• Ensure that machines are kept clean and organized at all times to prevent any operational issues.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Follow all company and industry safety guidelines and use the necessary protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or operational concerns to management immediately.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate logs and records of machine performance, maintenance, and product output.
• Report production progress, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues that arise during production.
• Assist in completing daily production reports and other required documentation.

6. Collaboration

• Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and teams to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Assist in training new operators or team members, as required.
• Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control) to resolve any production issues.
