Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Instruction:
   • Conduct interactive abacus training sessions for children in a classroom or online setting.
   • Deliver lessons according to the approved curriculum and in line with organizational guidelines.
   • Ensure that lessons are age-appropriate, engaging, and tailored to students learning abilities and pace.
   • Use physical abacus tools and visual aids to demonstrate arithmetic concepts.
   • Help students transition from using the physical abacus to visualizing and performing calculations mentally.
2. Lesson Planning and Material Preparation:
   • Prepare detailed lesson plans in advance of each class.
   • Create worksheets, practice problems, and homework assignments to reinforce learning.
   • Utilize innovative teaching techniques to maintain student engagement and motivation.
   • Provide supplementary materials as needed to support diverse learners.
3. Student Assessment and Progress Tracking:
   • Assess student performance regularly through quizzes, oral tests, and class participation.
   • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
   • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on performance and areas for improvement.
   • Identify students who may need additional support and offer extra sessions or individualized attention when necessary.
4. Classroom Management and Student Engagement:
   • Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
   • Motivate and encourage students to participate actively and consistently.
   • Manage class time efficiently and ensure all planned topics are covered within schedule.
   • Address any behavioral issues or learning challenges in a supportive and solution-oriented manner.
5. Parental Communication:
   • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child s performance and development.
   • Conduct periodic parent-teacher meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
   • Provide guidance to parents on how they can support learning at home.
6. Professional Development:
   • Stay updated with best practices in abacus teaching and mental arithmetic.
   • Attend instructor training sessions, workshops, and seminars offered by the organization or industry leaders.
   • Actively contribute to team meetings and curriculum development initiatives.
