The Academic Counsellor will work closely with both students and faculty to ensure academic success and career readiness.Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic guidance and counselling to prospective and current students.- Assist students in choosing the right course and track according to their skills and career goals.- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations to enhance learning outcomes.- Address student concerns regarding course materials, schedules, and any academic challenges.- Collaborate with faculty and other staff to enhance student satisfaction and success.- Support students in securing internships, placements, and industry exposure.- Organize workshops, seminars, and events to promote career development and skill-building.- Maintain detailed records of student performance and feedback.- Ensure students are aware of all necessary academic requirements, deadlines, and opportunities.Qualifications:- Bachelor s degree in any field; a background in Education or Psychology is preferred.- Proven experience in academic counselling or student support roles.- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to provide personalized support to students from diverse backgrounds.- Knowledge of IT training programs and career paths is a plus.Skills:- Empathetic, patient, and a good listener.- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.- Proficient in Microsoft Office and educational management systems.
