Job Title: Prompt Engineer (LLM / AI Prompt Specialist) Location: Remote Type: Contract Experience Level: Mid to SeniorAbout the Role:- We re looking for highly skilled Prompt Engineers who can design, refine, and optimize high-quality prompts to get precise, creative, and reliable results from large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT. You will be responsible for turning business or user requirements into clear, structured, and efficient AI interactions that produce meaningful outcomes.Key Responsibilities:-- Craft, iterate, and test high-performing text prompts for various use cases (e.g., customer support, content generation, coding assistance, knowledge retrieval, creative writing, etc.)- Translate vague goals or domain-specific tasks into clear prompt frameworks that guide LLMs toward desired behaviors.- Evaluate and improve LLM responses for accuracy, tone, completeness, and relevance.- Document prompt strategies, test results, and best practices for future reuse and scalability.- Stay up to date with developments in AI prompting, prompt tuning, and related tooling (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)Requirements:-- Proven experience crafting prompts for ChatGPT, GPT-4, Claude, or similar LLMs.- Excellent written communication skills with a strong sense of tone, clarity, and intent.- Creative and analytical mindset with attention to edge cases and model limitations.- Ability to think like both a user and an AI - anticipating misunderstandings and guiding the LLM accordingly.- Familiarity with AI behavior patterns, token limits, temperature/top-p tuning, and model-specific nuances.(Optional but valuable) Experience with few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought, or agent-style architectures.Preferred Qualifications:-- Background in writing, UX writing, linguistics, technical content, or AI interaction design.- Experience working with prompt libraries or AI orchestration platforms.
