Logistics And Warehouse Executive

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Logistics and Warehouse Executive to oversee and manage the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, order processing, dispatch coordination, goods receipt, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on experience in warehouse systems, and the ability to coordinate across departments and third-party vendors. The Logistics and Warehouse Executive plays a vital role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations by maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to safety and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Inventory and Stock Management :

• Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits and reconciliations.
• Update inventory records in software (ERP, WMS, or Excel-based tools).
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and report regularly to management.

2. Inward & Outward Operations :

• Coordinate and verify all incoming goods and raw materials, ensuring quality and quantity match with purchase orders.
• Supervise picking, packing, and dispatching of customer orders.
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of goods in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain documentation for goods receipt notes (GRN), delivery challans (DC), and invoices.

3. Order Fulfillment and Dispatch :

• Process sales orders and ensure on-time shipment to customers.
• Generate shipping labels, transport documentation, and coordinate with transporters or courier partners.
• Track and monitor the status of dispatched goods and resolve delivery issues or delays.

4. Logistics Coordination :

• Liaise with transport providers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
• Plan delivery schedules based on urgency, location, and cost-efficiency.
• Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.

5. Warehouse Organization :

• Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for easy access, safety, and efficiency.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO/FEFO stock rotation systems based on the nature of the product.
• Ensure warehouse hygiene, pest control, and safety standards are maintained.

6. Documentation & Reporting :

• Maintain all shipment, inward, and dispatch records.
• Generate daily reports on inventory, inward/outward movement, and pending deliveries.
• Assist in audits, compliance checks, and prepare reports for management review.

7. Compliance and Safety :

• Follow and enforce safety guidelines for material handling and storage.
• Ensure legal and company regulations for packaging, labeling, and documentation are met.
• Comply with E-way bill, GST invoicing, and other statutory requirements during shipping.
