Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and client-centric Banquet Sales Manager to lead banquet and event sales in Mumbai. The ideal candidate must have 8 to 12 years of experience in banquet sales at 5-star hotels or with high-end event planners, with a strong focus on handling HNI clientele and luxury events. This is a strategic sales role with a strong incentive-linked component.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic banquet sales plans to meet revenue targets.- Manage relationships with HNI clients, luxury wedding planners, and corporate accounts.- Customize proposals and offerings for premium events, ensuring high client satisfaction.- Drive lead generation through networking, referrals, and market connections.- Conduct site visits, presentations, and contract negotiations with prospective clients.- Collaborate with operations and F&B teams for flawless event execution.- Monitor competitor activity and stay updated on trends in the luxury event space.- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, client interactions, and revenue projections.- Represent the property at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.Requirements:- 8 to 12 years of experience in banquet sales at 5-star hotels or with high-end event planning firms.- Strong existing network of HNI clients, wedding planners, and MICE agencies.- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding high-value sales targets.- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.- Professional grooming and ability to represent the brand at a luxury level.- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field preferred.- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during event-intensive seasons.- Should have managed a minimum business volume of 5Cr. a year.
