Job Description
Ideal candidates must have good communication skills in Tamil and basic understanding of English or Hindi . Prior experience in a call center or customer service role is an advantage, but freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Call Handling
- Attend incoming calls from customers (inbound process) or make outgoing calls to customers (outbound process), as per project requirement.
- Communicate clearly and politely in Tamil to understand customer issues or requirements.
- Provide accurate information about the company s products, services, offers, or support procedures.
- Handle general queries, complaints, and service requests, and ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Problem Resolution
- Identify customer problems and provide appropriate solutions quickly and effectively.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior executives or supervisors as per escalation matrix.
- Record feedback or complaints and follow up on them as per company policy.
3. Documentation and System Updates
- Enter customer details, call notes, and feedback into the system accurately during or after each call.
- Maintain records of all interactions and update status in CRM or internal software.
- Adhere to data privacy and customer confidentiality standards at all times.
4. Language Proficiency
- Converse fluently and professionally in Tamil throughout the call.
- Understand simple instructions in English or Hindi (depending on process and training materials).
- Use proper tone, language, and listening skills to create a positive customer experience.
5. Quality and Compliance
- Meet call quality standards, handling time, and accuracy targets as set by the company.
- Follow standard scripts, call flows, and compliance procedures during calls.
- Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and call center etiquette.
6. Team Support and Participation
- Attend daily briefings, team meetings, and training sessions.
- Participate in skill development programs and refresher training.
- Support team members in achieving collective targets and performance goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate (in any discipline).
- Language Requirement: Fluency in Tamil (mandatory), with basic understanding of English or Hindi .
- Basic computer knowledge typing, navigating websites, and using CRM software.
- Good communication skills, listening ability, and customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including weekends if required).
