Job Description
Job Overview:We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in Freight brokerage and logistics to expand our client base in the US market . The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, building long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth by securing shipment contracts from shippers, manufacturers, and businesses in need of logistics solutions. Additionally, this role will require building and leading a high-performing sales team to scale business operations effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire and retain clients in the - US freight & logistics market- .- Identify potential customers (shippers, manufacturers, distributors, etc.) and convert them into long-term clients.- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and continuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.- Stay updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and industry regulations.- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.- Build, mentor, and lead a team of sales professionals to drive business growth.- Develop training programs and sales processes to enhance team performance and productivity.Requirements:- Total Experience -7 Years, Proven experience (3-5 years) in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or supply chain management targeting the US market .- Strong network and relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and distributors.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close deals and manage client expectations.- Understanding of freight pricing, carrier management, and shipment coordination.- Ability to work in US time zones and generate sales independently.- Experience in hiring, training, and managing sales teams .- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and reporting .Preferred Skills:- Experience in LTL, FTL, intermodal, or international freight sales.- Knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management Systems) .- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.Why Join Us?- Competitive salary with high commission potential .- Opportunity to work with a growing freight brokerage firm .- Leadership role with team-building opportunities.- Flexible work environment with growth potential.- Supportive leadership and freedom to implement sales strategies .
