ITI Turner Machine Shop Operations Job Description We 're looking for a skilled and precise ITI Turner to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you 'll be responsible for operating and setting up lathe machines to produce high-quality, precision components according to engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Operate conventional and/or CNC lathe machines to perform various operations such as turning, facing, boring, threading, and drilling on different materials. Setup & Tooling: Accurately set up lathe machines by selecting and installing appropriate cutting tools, chucks, and work-holding devices, adjusting machine settings based on job requirements. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to ensure precise component dimensions and surface finishes. Quality Control: Measure components using precision instruments e.g., calipers, micrometers, verniers, gauges to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
