Job Summary:
Development of AI Powered Datacenters to meet global market demand results in unprecedented growth in the power generation market. Power Business Line of Bechtel Infrastructure Global Business Unit is responding to this global challenge and growing its capability in the development and construction of combined cycle power projects globally. Bechtel is responding to the growth in the market by expanding our execution team to support the large pipeline of work internationally and specifically in the North America markets.
Bechtel is actively executing projects and has a development pipeline for combined cycle projects around the world, with a geographical focus in North America. We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the technical development and delivery of major projects.
In support of our plans to further develop and execute projects, the Project Engineer will participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, including proposal development, conceptual design, FEED, detailed design, and project execution. The Project Engineer will contribute to technical feasibility studies, value engineering, cost development and strategic planning for the project. Reports to the Project Engineering Manager and/or the Functional Manager of Engineering.
Major Responsibilities:
:
Highly skilled in GT, HRSG, STG and BOP design aspects and interfaces to support EPC execution.

Has full technical responsibility for planning, interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating the engineering assignments and activities on the project in liaison with the India Office PEM.

Leading and integrating the Engineering Team, comprising diverse engineering fields (e.g., electrical, controls and instrumentation, process, mechanical, plant layout, etc.), for building a cohesive team and pursuing common objectives in bid or execution projects and reporting to Project Engineering Manager.

Establish / manage the engineering budget, schedule, quantity, quality, and cost and maintains ownership, and ensures execution within approved budgets for assigned units/facilities.

Complete ownership in managing the statutory and company specific design reviews i.e., 3D Model Reviews, Safety Reviews, etc. Ensures that requisite supporting documentation is completed
