Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development and managing client relationships within the flavor and fragrance (F&F) industry. This B2B role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends to effectively promote our innovative flavor and fragrance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:& Drive B2B sales across the assigned territory by acquiring new clients and identifying potential business opportunities.
Account Management:& Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and grow 'wallet share '.
Technical Consultation:& Understand customer requirements and collaborate with our technical (perfumery/flavorist) team to provide tailored solutions and samples.
Market Intelligence:& Provide regional market insights, track competitor activities, and inform business planning and product development teams of emerging trends.
Sales Strategy & Reporting:& Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, manage contract negotiations, and maintain accurate records of pricing and sales activities.
Product Knowledge:& Maintain updated knowledge of product launches, share product information with customers, and conduct product presentations.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:& Proven B2B sales experience in the fragrance, flavors, aroma chemicals, cosmetics, personal care, or related chemical industry is highly preferred.
Education:& A Bachelor 's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
Communication:& Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
Technical Acumen:& Strong techno-commercial acumen and an interest in the technical aspects of flavors and fragrances.
Networking:& Strong networking skills and a proven ability to build relationships with R&D, procurement, and marketing teams of client companies.
Work Ethic:& Highly motivated, with excellent time management skills and a willingness to be in the market to meet clients (up to 80% of the time).
Computer Skills:& Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT) and experience with CRM systems.
