Job Description
- Job Description: Cluster Manager - Bancassurance- Department: Bancassurance Sales- Location: Haryana- Reports To: Zonal / Regional Manager- Company: BFSI Job Purpose:To drive life insurance business from assigned Relationship/Channel partners (bank branches) within a designated area or zone. The role involves training and influencing bank staff to promote and sell ABSLI insurance products to their customers, while ensuring smooth pre- and post-sales support. The Cluster Manager will also lead a dedicated team, aiming to achieve business targets with consistent quarter-on-quarter growth.Roles and Responsibilities:Employees will be on-rolls of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance and mapped to specific bank branches within the assigned geography.Responsible for generating insurance business through:- Walk-in customers at the branch- Leads generated by branch staff- Existing and new customer base- Work only within the assigned branches/geography, ensuring focused engagement.- Drive penetration of life insurance (LI) across all bank customers in the branch network.- Provide consistent support to enhance branch profitability by promoting ABSLI products. Sales Target Responsibilities:- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets, including:- NOP (Number of Policies)- FYP (First Year Premium)- Persistency- Customer Service & Complaint Resolution- Address and resolve customer complaints within defined TATs, ensuring a superior customer experience.
-Relationship Management:- Build and maintain a strong, professional relationship with:- Branch Managers- Bank staff across levels- Promote ABSLI as a preferred insurance partner, especially in open architecture models.- Conduct regular joint calls and provide sales support and training to branch teams.- Communicate all updates regarding product/process/regulation changes effectively to bank partners using training tools and modules. Key Expectations:- Demonstrate deep knowledge of both insurance and banking products.- Serve as the first point of contact for all sales and service issues between the bank branch and ABSLI.- Deliver training sessions and coaching to bank staff to equip them for insurance sales.- Foster consistent engagement and drive higher conversion ratios from branch leads. Qualifications & Requirements:- Education: Graduate (minimum); MBA/PG preferred- Experience: 4-8 years in financial services; minimum 2 years in Bancassurance or channel sales- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills- Result-oriented mindset with team handling capabilities- Ability to travel within the assigned cluster/geography (ref:updazz.com)
