We re seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to own and execute the organic growth strategy for our portfolio of sites. This is a hands-on role - you will research, plan, and implement SEO initiatives while working closely with our content team and consultants.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value, low-competition opportunities in Home & Garden verticals.- Build content topic clusters and SEO-driven editorial calendars.- Create detailed content briefs for writers, including target keywords, structure, and internal linking plans.- Optimize all site content for on-page SEO, user intent, and conversion without over-optimization.- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and implement fixes (site speed, mobile optimization, Core Web Vitals, crawl issues).- Implement and maintain structured data/schema markup for enhanced SERP visibility.- Develop and execute a white-hat link building strategy (guest posts, digital PR, resource links).- Track performance via GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools; provide clear monthly reports.- Collaborate with social media and email teams to align SEO with Pinterest and YouTube content strategies.- Advise on domain selection (aged vs. new) based on SEO potential and risk assessment.Requirements:- 3 years experience in SEO for content-heavy websites (including affiliate and ad-monetized).- Proven track record of ranking competitive keywords and driving organic traffic growth.- Proficiency in tools such as As, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO (or similar).- Strong understanding of WordPress SEO best practices.- Knowledge of E-E-A-T principles and how to implement them in content.- Ability to interpret analytics and turn insights into actionable strategies.Bonus: Experience with Pinterest SEO and niche site builds.
