Adjustments: Based on the EOB/ERA information and payer contracts, appropriately apply contractual adjustments, write-offs, copays, deductibles, and co-insurance. Unapplied Funds: Address any unapplied payments or credit balances on patient accounts and accurately publish them. HIPAA Compliance: When managing and processing financial information, strictly comply to HIPAA regulations and patient data privacy.
