They should be from such a location that they can go to Kalyani everyday without trouble. & A quality engineer in an iron and steel manufacturing company is responsible for& developing and implementing quality control systems to ensure products meet specifications and standards.& Their duties include inspecting raw materials and finished products, analyzing production data to identify and fix issues, collaborating with suppliers and manufacturing teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.& They also write reports, conduct audits, and work to improve processes and customer satisfaction.& & & Key responsibilities Quality control and assurance: Develop and maintain quality control procedures, inspection plans, and testing protocols specific to steel manufacturing.& Conduct and oversee inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished steel products.& Train shop floor personnel on quality standards and procedures.& & Problem-solving and continuous improvement: Analyze production data and customer feedback to identify defects and recurring issues.& Investigate quality complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.& Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.& & Compliance and auditing: Ensure products comply with all legal and regulatory standards, such as ISO 9001.& Conduct internal audits of processes and production areas to ensure standards are being followed.& Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all incoming materials meet quality standards.& & Reporting and communication: Document all quality-related issues, investigations, and improvements.& Prepare and present quality reports to management.& Collaborate effectively with other departments like engineering, production, and management.& & ,
