Job DescriptionGeneralJob Title: Area Sales ManagerReports to: Region Sales Manager (Academia and Research - Division) Job PurposeOverall growth of the assigned region, mapping the customer based on the potential. Making sure Genei brands products & services are promoted & highlighted in all the territories of the region.Major Accountabilities:- Achieve specific revenue target assigned for the region/territory.- Introduce Genei products & services to the new accounts.- Maintaining growth within the current accounts year over year.- Accurate & confident order/revenue forecasting on monthly & quarterly basis.- Identification, creation & focus on the key accounts.- Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge across a broad range of Genei products and services.- Create & maintain proper distribution network in the region.- Collaborating with HO for commercial transactions & supplies for the customers.- Accurately maintaining and developing prospect/client data.- Engaging and communicating effectively with customers (focus more on value selling process).- Maintaining a robust pipeline for future sales by sourcing new prospects as well as qualifying inbound leads for conversion.- Must be able to communicate technical data and information, both to and from accounts.- Conduct & collaborate with the marketing team for regional marketing planning, initiatives & activities.- Coordinate with finance team for payment/AR collections from customers on timely basis.- Any other responsibilities the company demands.Job Dimensions- Team responsibility: None- Budgetary responsibility: Marketing budgets, Travel budgetQualifications- Graduate with MBA (preferred)- Years of Experience: 5 yearsExperience- Majority experience in Academia and Research organizations- Experience in B2B sales over 3-5 years- Excellent experience in managing relationships with key accounts in B2B segment- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities (ref:updazz.com)
