SDET Test Lead / Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
:A minimum of 8 years ' experience in Quality Engineering and experience in leading team
:Collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams to understand product requirements and create detailed test specifications.
:Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for API and UI testing
:Perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and penetration testing
:Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test data sheets, and test reports.
:Implement and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, and TestNG.
:Conduct schema validation and data:driven testing for APIs.
:Analyze automation test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports.
:Manage CI/CD pipelines and build tools, including Jenkins and Maven.
:Work independently as an individual contributor to design test cases, execute testing, and create test reports.
:Actively participate in test automation initiatives and contribute to building automation strategies.
:Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, escalating issues and providing timely updates.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Mandate Skills
:Strong expertise in API testing and automation using tools like Insomnia and Rest Assured libraries.
:Hands:on experience with Selenium for UI automation and JMeter for performance testing.
:Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python.
:Solid knowledge of database testing and ability to write SQL/MongoDB queries.
:Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and build tools like Maven, integrated with GCP services..
:Familiarity with AI assistance tools like CoPilot or Windsurf
:Strong understanding of test methodologies, STLC concepts, and Agile/Scrum practices.
:Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and strategies.
:Ability to create testing documents such as Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Reports.
:Hands:on experience with JSON, XML, and API testing tools.
:Excellent communication skills and client interaction experience.
Good to have skills:
:Experience with non:functional testing (e.g., performance, security).
:Experience with TDD/BDD frameworks.
:Exposure to AI Technologies (MCP, Agentic AI)
:Knowledge of GCP IAM roles and permissions for testing environments.
