Job Description
Role Objective:To manage sales and distribution operations for Vijayawada city, ensuring achievement of business volumes and expansion of distribution coverage.Key Responsibilities:- Sales & Distribution Management- Achieve monthly sales targets of 400 MT (Salt & Atta combined).- Ensure effective distribution coverage, product availability, and visibility in retail and wholesale channels.- Monitor and drive both primary and secondary sales.- Team & Market Management- Lead a team of 8 members, including Sales Officers and field staff.- Guide, train, and monitor the team s performance.- Identify new distributors and enhance market reach.- Market Development & Relationship Building- Maintain strong relationships with trade partners, distributors, and key retailers.- Gather market intelligence and competitor information.- Drive effective market activation and promotional activities.- Operational Coordination- Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and stock management.- Analyze data to track performance and identify improvement areas.Candidate Profile:- Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Staples (Salt/Atta).- Strong understanding of local geography and trade network.- Experience in managing and motivating field teams.- Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.- Self-motivated, proactive, and open to fieldwork.
