About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) - Events to lead and expand our partnerships and sponsorship portfolio across strategic events, summits, and leadership programs. This role demands a deep understanding of event sales, corporate engagement, and B2B partnership development, especially within the HR, startup, and enterprise ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Sponsorship Sales- Identify, qualify, and close sponsorships and strategic partnerships for events (virtual, hybrid, on-ground).- Pitch event properties to CXOs, marketing heads, and decision-makers across relevant industries.- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets through sponsor acquisition and upselling.2. Event Strategy & Positioning- Collaborate with the events team to build compelling sponsorship decks and marketing narratives.- Tailor value propositions as per the brand s marketing and business objectives.- Stay updated on industry trends to identify new event formats or vertical-specific campaigns.3. Client Engagement & Account Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors and potential partners.- Ensure timely communication, delivery of sponsor entitlements, and post-event engagement.- Manage end-to-end sponsor experience before, during, and after events.4. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.- Provide input into event agendas, audience acquisition, and branding opportunities for partners.Key Requirements:- 2-5 years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in events, media, consulting, or SaaS.- Proven track record of closing high-value partnerships and sponsorship deals.- Strong understanding of corporate branding, lead generation, and event ROI frameworks.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.- Exposure to the HR tech, startup, or consulting ecosystem is a strong plus.- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and proposal creation tools (e.g., Canva, Pitch).Why Join Us?- Be part of Aavyan s fast-growing flagship platforms like BharatWorks100X.- Work with CXOs, founders, and senior leaders across India s top organizations.- Accelerate your learning curve in partnerships, enterprise sales, and large-scale event strategy.
