Position: Assistant Manager - Sales (Sponge Iron)Location: RanchiExperience: 5 Years in Sponge Iron, TMT, Billets.Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:- Responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for Sponge Iron (DRI).- Identify and develop new customers, particularly in steel rerolling mills, foundries, and induction furnace units.- Manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.Order Management:- Handle end-to-end order processing including quotations, order confirmation, dispatch coordination, and payment follow-up.- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics departments for timely deliveries.Market Intelligence:- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, customer demand, and trade developments to provide timely inputs to management.- Suggest pricing strategies and promotional offers to increase market share.Customer Relationship Management:- Regularly visit customers for follow-ups, feedback, and addressing concerns.- Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.MIS & Reporting:- Maintain sales records, prepare daily / weekly reports, and assist in preparing sales forecasts.- Track outstanding payments and ensure timely collection as per agreed terms.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Any GraduateExperience: 3 - 5 years in B2B industrial sales, preferably Sponge Iron or Steel Products.- Hands-on experience in sponge iron or related steel products marketing.- Familiarity with dispatch planning and logistics for bulk materials.- Strong network in steel re-rolling and secondary steel sector.
