Accountant Work as a Part of a Rising Finance Group Job Description: Responsibilities: Financial Record Keeping: Keep track of daily financial transactions, such as accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), in the general ledger. Bank Reconciliation: To make sure internal records match bank statements and spot any inconsistencies, do monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Financial Reporting: Create the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Cash Flow Statement on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Tax Compliance: Make sure the business complies with all regulatory filing dates and prepare and file tax returns (GST/VAT, Income Tax, Payroll Tax). Forecasting and Budgeting: Help create yearly budgets and keep an eye on differences between actual and planned spending. Payroll Processing: Oversee the complete payroll procedure, making sure that workers are paid correctly and on schedule while controlling any required deductions.
