Job Description
Job Title: Admissions Counselor/Sales CounselorJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Admissions (Sales) Counselor to guide prospective students/customers through the enrollment or purchase process. This role combines consultative sales with advising-building relationships, understanding needs, and converting leads into successful enrollments or sales while delivering an excellent customer experience.Key Responsibilities:- Respond to inbound and outbound inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person- Counsel prospective students/customers on programs/products, pricing, and requirements- Qualify leads and assess needs to recommend the best-fit solution- Follow up consistently to nurture leads and close enrollments/sales- Meet or exceed individual and team enrollment/sales targets- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems- Conduct presentations, campus tours, demos, or info sessions as needed- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and academic/customer teams- Address objections professionally and handle questions with confidence- Support onboarding and ensure a smooth post-enrollment/customer handoffRequired Qualifications:- 1-3 years of experience in admissions, sales, counseling, or customer service- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Goal-oriented mindset with a consultative sales approach- Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up timelines- Basic proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office / Google WorkspaceKey Competencies:- Relationship building- Lead conversion and closing- Time management- Problem-solving- Customer-centric mindset (ref:updazz.com)
