AutoCAD Design Engineer Construct a Creative Roadmap Job Description: Responsibilities: Drafting and Modeling: Using AutoCAD and comparable software suites, create intricate 2D layouts and 3D wireframes or solid models. Design Refinement: Adjust and update current designs in response to client requirements, engineering input, or test findings. Standardization and Compliance: Verify that all drawings follow international codes (such as ISO, ASME, or ANSI) and business drafting standards. BOM Preparation: To assist with production and procurement, create precise Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation packages. Apply the Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts to drawings in order to convey functional requirements and guarantee that pieces fit together when assembled. Coordination: Work together with the manufacturing floor to address production-related design-related problems and confirm that designs are "manufacturable." Data management: Ensure correct file naming conventions and revision history monitoring while organizing and maintaining a tidy CAD library.
