About the role:The Flea Market Manager is responsible for sourcing quality vendors, planning and executing society-level flea markets, and driving revenue through on-ground event operations. This role involves strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and on-site coordination to deliver engaging and profitable community events within NoBrokerHood societies. This role is part of the NoBrokerHood Community Engagement team, dedicated to elevating resident experiences by creating vibrant, innovative, and profitable flea market events within societies.Role Type : Individual Contributor (Field Coordination)Job Description:1. Vendor Sourcing & Management :- Identify and onboard vendors across categories (food, crafts, lifestyle, home dcor, etc.).- Negotiate commercial terms to maximize event profitability.- Maintain a robust and diverse vendor database for continuous engagement.- Ensure vendor compliance with event guidelines and operational standards.2. Event Planning & Execution :- Coordinate with RWAs, MC members, and society management (NoBrokerHood communities) for permissions and finalizing schedules.- Work with internal teams - marketing, operations, logistics, accounts - to ensure event readiness.- Oversee entire on-ground execution:- Booth allocation and setup- Layout planning- Vendor coordination- Customer engagement- Troubleshoot real-time issues and ensure smooth event flow.3. Stakeholder Coordination- Build positive relationships with society committees, vendors, and service partners.- Drive event marketing initiatives (digital, offline, community announcements) to increase footfall.- Ensure high satisfaction for both customers and vendors.4. Revenue & Margin Management- Own the P&L for each flea market event.- Track collections, manage expenses, and optimize margins.- Suggest new ideas, formats, partnerships, and promotions to boost revenue.Key Skills & Requirements- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.- Excellent event management and on-ground execution abilities.- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on profitability and growth.- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.- Prior experience in events, vendor management, B2B/B2C sales, or community engagement is a plus.- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple events simultaneously.Work Environment- Field-based role within city limits, focused on NoBrokerHood societies.- Requires flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays, as most events are scheduled then.Ideal Candidate Profile- Energetic, resourceful, and action-oriented.- Strong problem-solver with the ability to think quickly on the ground- Passionate about community engagement and event-driven experiences.- Self-motivated with strong ownership and a results-driven approach.What we have to offer!- Working directly with the leadership team; having a high level of work independence, autonomy, and empowerment to lead company-wide changes- Being part of a start-up from an early stage, lead your area of expertise and be a part of this exciting growth journey of changing the real estate world- Excellent platform for learning how to build teams, achieve goals and handle high-growth situations.
