Job Description
Assistant Manager - Business Development (Project Sales | Non-CRM)Location: KochiIndustry: Ceramics / Tiles / Sanitaryware / Building MaterialsRole Objective:The role involves driving project sales in the ceramic segment by identifying, specifying, and converting projects, while building strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and consultants across the Kochi market.Key Responsibilities:- Identify and track residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects- Drive tile & ceramic specification through architects, consultants, and designers- Develop strong relationships with builders, contractors, project owners, and PMC teams- Manage the complete project sales cycle: specification - sampling - negotiation - order closure - execution- Coordinate with dealers and channel partners for project supplies and timely deliveries- Achieve monthly and annual project sales targets- Conduct regular site visits, mock-ups, and project follow-ups- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and new product launches- Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and project pipelinesDesired Candidate Profile:- 5-8 years of experience in Ceramic / Tiles / Sanitaryware project sales- Strong exposure to Non-CRM / B2B project sales- Established network with architects, builders, contractors, and interior designers- Good understanding of tiles, slabs, surfaces, sizes, finishes, and applications- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills- Target-driven with excellent market execution abilityEducation:- Graduate in any discipline- MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred (ref:updazz.com)
