Job Description
International Business Development Executive - Medical DevicesLocation- BangalorePOSITION OVERVIEW :We are seeking dynamic International BDE with a strong background in surgical trade and international exposure. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing key accounts, driving sales of medical devices, and building relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.Key Responsibilities :Sales & Business Development :- Drive sales of medical devices across assigned territories/accounts- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to surgeons and hospital staffSurgical Trade & Support :- Provide technical support during surgical procedures (OR support)- Build strong relationships with surgeons, procurement teams, and hospital administrators- Attend surgeries to demonstrate product usage and provide hands-on training- Conduct product training sessions for medical professionals- Address technical queries and provide post-sales supportInternational Travel & Market Development :- Undertake international travel for training, conferences, and market expansion- Represent the company at international medical conferences and exhibitions- Collaborate with global teams and distributors- Stay updated with global trends in medical device technologyAccount Management :- Manage key accounts including multi-specialty hospitals and healthcare institutions- Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers- Handle tender submissions and hospital empanelment processes- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivablesCompliance & Reporting :- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, service) for seamless operationsRequirements :- MBA Freshers from Top Tier institutes are eligible- 4 years of proven experience in medical device sales or surgical trade- International travel experience for training, conferences, or business development- Strong surgical trade experience with extensive OR (Operating Room) exposure- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth- Experience in handling surgical specialties (Orthopedics, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, etc.)- Strong relationships with surgeons, hospital procurement teams, and KOLs (ref:updazz.com)
