The Video Editor will play a key role in shaping brand storytelling across marketing, product, and sales channels.You will collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to conceptualize and produce high-impact video content including:- Product demos- Social media videos- Brand storytelling content- Tutorials & explainers- Advertisements- Event and campaign contentThe ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and be comfortable managing multiple projects with evolving creative inputs and tight timelines.What You ll Own:Video Editing & Production:- Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality video content aligned with Ctruh s brand and storytelling goals- Deliver videos across formats: promotional videos, product demos, tutorials, customer stories, ads, and internal content- Handle end-to-end post-production including cuts, transitions, pacing, sound sync, and exports- Ensure consistency in visual style, tone, and quality across all video assetsMarketing & Performance Content:- Edit short-form and long-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, website, ads, and email campaigns- Create performance-driven ad creatives optimized for CTR, engagement, and conversions- Adapt and repurpose videos into multiple formats (reels, shorts, snippets, teasers)- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, launches, ABM efforts, and eventsMotion Graphics & Visual Enhancement:- Add motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions, and basic animations using After Effects- Incorporate sound effects, background music, and basic sound mixing- Apply color correction and grading for professional-quality output- Maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines and creative directionCollaboration & Creative Execution:- Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to understand briefs and objectives- Provide creative input on storytelling, pacing, and visual treatment- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines- Adapt quickly to changes in scope, feedback, and prioritiesAsset Management & Process:- Organize video assets, raw footage, and final exports systematically- Maintain proper storage, backups, and version control- Build efficient workflows for faster turnarounds without compromising qualityTrend Awareness & Skill Development:- Stay updated on video trends, formats, and platform best practices- Experiment with new styles, transitions, AI video tools, and editing techniques- Continuously improve storytelling, motion, and editing speedWhat We re Looking For:- 2-5 years of professional experience as a Video Editor- Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro- Working knowledge of After Effects (motion graphics, basic animations)- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and export settings- Experience editing videos for digital platforms and social media- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines- Comfortable working in a startup, ad-hoc, fast-changing environment- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant video workNice-to-Haves:- Experience with DaVinci Resolve (color grading advantage)- Basic sound design and audio mixing skills- Experience editing performance or ad-focused content- Familiarity with AI-based video tools or workflows- Experience working with SaaS, tech, or product companies- Ability to create simple thumbnails or visual assetsWhat Success Looks Like:- High-quality videos delivered consistently and on time- Strong engagement on social and marketing videos- Clear, compelling product and brand storytelling- Fast turnaround without compromising creative quality- Positive feedback from marketing, product, and leadership teams (ref:updazz.com)
