Job DescriptionPosition- Account Manager - Client Retention & Growth (Farming Role)Reporting To: BSMWorking Days: 6 Days, 2nd and 3rd saturday will be offWorking Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMRole Overview- We are looking for a dynamic and consultative Account Manager to focus on nurturing and growing existing client relationships. This is a farming role, where the primary objective is to enhance client lifetime value through strong relationship management, retention strategies, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.- The ideal candidate will work closely with recruitment consultancies and mid-sized corporates, ensuring high satisfaction, renewals, and revenue growth through strategic engagement and value-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities- Relationship Management & Retention- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.- Ensure high client satisfaction and improve retention rates.- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.- Account Growth (Upsell & Cross-Sell)- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.- Recommend additional solutions aligned with clients evolving hiring needs.- Drive renewals and increase wallet share through strategic engagement.- Client Success Collaboration- Partner with the Customer Success team to ensure effective product utilization.- Support clients in maximizing ROI from services.- Proactively manage renewal cycles.- Performance Tracking & Reporting- Monitor account health metrics such as retention rate, upsell conversion, and renewal performance.- Maintain CRM dashboards and ensure accurate pipeline tracking.- Strategic Account Planning- Develop customized account plans including SWOT analysis.- Create engagement calendars and growth strategies for each client.- Provide tailored proposals based on business objectives.- Client Education & Value Reinforcement- Conduct regular check-ins (virtual/in-person).- Educate clients about product enhancements and industry trends.- Share relevant case studies and success stories.- Issue Resolution & Escalation- Address client concerns promptly.- Coordinate internally to resolve challenges and maintain trust.- Insight Generation- Analyze hiring trends and industry data.- Use insights to proactively position solutions and strengthen client relationships.Key Requirements- Experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Farming roles.- Proven track record in client retention, upselling, and cross-selling.- Experience in B2B, SaaS, staffing, recruitment solutions, or HR tech preferred.- Strong consultative selling and strategic account planning ability.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.- Strong stakeholder management capability.- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from account data.- Self-driven and proactive in client engagement.Educational QualificationBachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).Why This Role Matters- Strengthens long-term client partnerships and loyalty.- Drives sustainable revenue through recurring business.- Enhances client satisfaction and product adoption.- Leverages data-driven insights for strategic account growth.Ideal Candidate Profile- Relationship-focused and value-driven.- Comfortable handling objections and turning feedback into growth opportunities.- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.- Data-driven and proactive in anticipating client needs.
