Job Description
Job Summary Embark s Corporate marketing team is looking for a corporate marketing manager to join us and work with different verticals and help them achieve their business goals through a host of brand building strategies. In this job you are accountable for:- As part of the Corporate Brand team, you will be responsible for working on the brand as a whole. ( Digital and Social) - You will work with the leadership of different verticals to understand their growth objectives. You will then work with the CMO to develop effective brand strategies to help them achieve the aforesaid goals.
-You will work on creating impactful campaigns across different communication channels, both internal and external, digital and print. ( Social media: Linkedin/Instagram/substack/X/Youtube, podcasts, digital marketing, webinars and the website) - You will manage creative projects and resources to effectively deliver results in optimal timeframes. You will liaise with in-house designers and agency partners to deliver quality creative output that aligns with our business requirements. Responsibility for end-to-end delivery of each project with lie with you. This includes everything from periodical newsletters to one-off digital broadcasts to larger brand campaigns and so on.
-You will also oversee brand alignment and governance on an ongoing basis for your respective vertical, ensuring any and all content (written, visual and spoken) is aligned to Embark s brand style and driving brand compliance across the organisation.
-Reporting and generating insights to the CMO on the utilisation and bandwidth of creative resources.
-You will be in charge of events and campaigns related to your respective vertical and will work with the chosen Event partners to execute them.
-Managing legal and financial procedures of the brand team s vendors and agencies in line with Tesco processes.
-Experience relevant for this job - 10-12 years of experience in corporate marketing at blue chip corporates or account management in a leading advertising or digital agency (not PR).
-Experience in the retail technology industry is a plus.
-An MBA in Marketing or Masters in Advertising/Media/Communication from a premier school would be given preference - Operational skills relevant for this job - Understanding of advertising and digital campaign strategy and demonstrable expertise across channels and platforms.
-Exceptional communication skill, both spoken and written. Long form writing ability would be a tremendous plus.
-A good understanding of modern graphic design principles and the application of brand guidelines, combined with experience of both spearheading and managing campaigns across platforms.
-Demonstrable expertise in stakeholder management and account management.
-Excellent presentation skills - the ability to think, structure, create and deliver (present) a presentation with elan, are a necessity for growth in this role.
-Flawless project management skills - the ability to manage and see through a project from start to finish and repeatedly deliver impact on schedule, is paramount to this role.
-Vendor management and budget management experience preferred. (ref:updazz.com)
