Maintenance Engineer Junior Engineer for Plant Maintenance Job Description Responsibilities: Emergency Breakdown Diagnostics: Oversee quick, in-depth technical troubleshooting during unplanned machine failures, resolving intricate interrelated problems involving mechanical gear trains, hydraulic pumps, pneumatic cylinders, and electrical logic panels. Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Management: Create, record, and carry out thorough preventative maintenance procedures as well as predictive tracking activities, such as thermal imaging matrix configurations, oil analysis, and vibration recording. CNC & Automation Systems Maintenance: Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot precise industrial CNC/VMC machines. To resolve spindle, axis drive, or feedback encoder issues, directly interface with main controller frameworks. Root-Cause Failure Analysis: Use 8D Frameworks, Fishbone Diagnostics, and 5-Why Methodologies to develop long-term fixes for equipment failures that occur frequently or catastrophically. PLC Automation & VFD Troubleshooting: Parameterize Frequency Drives, track line problems by interacting with Programmable Logic Controller input/output modules, and read intricate electrical diagrams.
