Using precise hand-measuring tools, examine completed components during active cycles to ensure that dimensions are within engineering blueprint tolerances. Keep a constant eye on cutting cycles, spot any unusual machining chatter, smoke patterns, or changes in surface roughness, and notify the CNC Setter or Programmer right away to replace dull inserts. Make sure parts are smooth and prepared for the next staging bay by performing the required hand deburring, filing, and component cleaning tasks during machine run times. To account for tool drift, make small dimensional wear offset adjustments directly into the machine controller panel while being supervised.
