Factory Shift Leading Role Production Shift Incharge Job Description Duties: Frontline Manpower & Cell Allocation Control: Hold toolbox meetings at the start of each shift, audit operator attendance, enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) practices, and assign technicians and packers to production stations that are optimized. Hourly Production Output Execution: Track hourly piece counts, monitor real-time machine run-rates against the daily production plan, and modify floor workflows to make sure the shift meets its volume obligations. Moulding Defect Triage & Process Tuning: Keep an eye on the appearance of active parts and quickly modify fundamental machine settings to get rid of shift-level flaws like flash, short shots, silver streaks, sink marks, or warpage. SMED & Quick Changeover Coordination: Work closely with the Setup and Tool Room teams to reduce mold and material changeover windows so that parameter loads, material changes, and line clean-downs go smoothly. Focus Skills: Practical Injection Moulding Processing Literacy: The ability to link observable flaws in components with the appropriate machine modifications, such as speed, pack pressure, or cooling time. Assertive Floor Leadership & Manpower Handling: Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of shift workers, reduce interpersonal conflict on the line, and sustain productivity under challenging production schedules. Cycle-Time Optimization & Waste Reduction Logic: The ability to detect hidden floor limits, minimize unnecessary motions, and reduce tool changeover windows. Basic Blueprint Reading & Aesthetic Gauge Understanding: The ability to use engineering drawings, control plans, and boundary sample deployment correctly to verify part compliance.
