Maintenance Engineer Big Overhauls & Closure Plans Job Description: The main "Equipment Uptime Guardian" and "Plant Reliability Anchor" of our actual production facilities is the Maintenance Engineer-production & Industrial Facilities. Your principal responsibility is to guarantee the continuous operation, preventive maintenance, mechanical integrity, and electrical reliability of all plant machinery and utility systems, while production engineers set daily output targets and quality engineers oversee product standards. This includes managing variable frequency drives, steam boilers, air compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic presses, motor control centers, programmable logic controllers, automated manufacturing lines, and facility infrastructure. As the "Guardian of Mean Time Between Failures, Mean Time to Repair, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Workplace Safety, and Zero Unplanned Line Downtime," you assume direct execution responsibility for keeping intricate utility, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems audit-ready. Key Duties Preventive and Predictive Upkeep Execution: Put predictive condition monitoring and planned preventive maintenance procedures into place for all plant equipment and utility assets. Electro-Mechanical & PLC Troubleshooting: During operational shifts, oversee real-time breakdown response by identifying and fixing complicated PLC/SCADA, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic fault codes on automated manufacturing lines. Utility & Infrastructure Operations: Manage the regular maintenance and performance evaluation of central plant utilities, such as diesel generators, water treatment facilities, steam boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and industrial air compressors. Root Cause Failure Analysis: After significant machinery failures, carry out in-depth failure investigations utilising the Fishbone and 5-Why frameworks, putting in place long-term corrective measures to stop future failures. Spare Parts Inventory & Asset Management: Use computerised maintenance management systems to keep track of essential machine spare parts stock levels, arrange component reordering locations, and manage asset records.
