Maintenance Engineer Change Issues into Fixes Job Description Responsibilities: Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Execution: To reduce unplanned plant stoppages, plan, schedule, and carry out routine preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance on all plant machinery, utility equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic lines, and electrical distribution panels. Diagnose and fix complicated mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC/automation breakdowns quickly. Take the lead in Root Cause Failure Analysis to stop recurrent machine failures. Implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) involves working with production teams to train operators on fundamental machine checks, lubrication procedures, and cleanliness requirements. TPM pillars include Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Kobetsu Kaizen. Spare Parts Management & Inventory Optimisation: Determine which spare parts are essential, set minimum and maximum stock criteria, control the consumption of spare parts, communicate with suppliers to source machine spares, and guarantee high spare availability while minimising inventory holding costs.
