Metallurgy Engineer jobs at chennai 2026 Full job description Job Description Conduct metallurgical, mechanical and physical testing of metals, steel and other materials as per defined standards. Perform testing using metallurgical laboratory instruments and equipment and ensure accuracy of test results. Support new product and material development through feasibility studies, material characterization and testing. Handle furnace validation and process equipment validation activities. Maintain the metallurgy laboratory, equipment and records as per defined procedures. Prepare and maintain test reports, validation documents and laboratory records. Ensure compliance with material and metallurgical standards. Support quality improvement, root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
