What role you will play in our team
Supports piping engineering needs across global businesses in projects and site support. Individual contributor to strengthen its Surface Engineering team at the Bengaluru Technology Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. What will you do
Primary Function
:
Performs routine work independently and undertakes complex problems or issues with the guidance of a senior engineer.
:
Conducts detailed technical evaluations to address issues with Piping and system design, operation and maintenance.
:
Provides technical assistance to Root Cause Failure Analysis teams.
:
Reviews project and contractor deliverables as requested to ensure compliance with project specifications, Design Practices, Codes and standards and best practices.
:
Participate in inter:disciplinary document review, design reviews, 3D model reviews, risk assessments
:
Coordinate/collaborate across all technical disciplines, as well as field engineering support to develop pragmatic, general interest solutions.
:
Supports functional initiatives and maintains discipline documentation.
:
Provides technical mentorship to young engineers.
:
Proactively and continuously grows technical expertise in pertinent technologies.
:
Maintains current knowledge (e.g. through participation in industry training, conferences and forums).
About You
Skills and Qualifications
:
Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognized university as a minimum with GPA 6.0 or above.
:
Minimum 5 years of work experience in piping engineering in oil and gas industry.
:
Working knowledge on :

Piping arrangements, piping isometrics, plot plan, equipment layout
:
Piping materials take:off, piping material specifications, valve material specifications, data sheets, vendor proposals

Stress analysis, piping suppor
