Ferns N Petals - Team Leader - Java Development - Spring/Spring Boot (6-12 Yrs) Delhi/Delhi NCR (Systems/Product Software)

Responsibilities : - Should take the responsibility and ownership for the analysis, functional decomposition, modelling, prototyping, design, coding, code review, testing, deployment and status reporting of a work product in a project.
-Leading a team of developers and owning the full product lifecycle.
-Code reviews, mentorship, and individual contribution.
-Designing solutions to complex business problems, Server-side business logic implementation.
-Developing REST APIs, while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
-Writing reusable, testable, optimized and efficient code.
-Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
-Building applications and products with scale and performance in mind.
-Detailed periodic status / health reports of the product / task - Proactive decision making and strong adherence to timelines - Working on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the PM at the project level.
-Delivery of project version / module as per plan and with quality - Provide input on technical effort estimation to arrive at resourcing plans - Be part of technical panel for recruitment and yearly performance appraisals - Conduct training and induction of new team members EXPERIENCE : - 5-7 years of work experience in related field with 2 years in team handling.
-Knowledge of Cloud Architecture - Google Cloud Platform, AWS - Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
-Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, jQuery, angularJS.
-Understanding of SCRUM Methodology.
-Able to create database schemas for business processes.
-Strong unit testing and debugging skillsKNOWLEDGE: - Understand application performance tuning - Sound knowledge of modern software architectures, design patterns and development techniques - Domain understanding of ecommerce MANDATORY SKILLS : - Java 6/7/8 - Servlets, JSP, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot - Relational databases(MySQL, Maria DB, PostgreSQL etc), NoSQL database(Mongo) - Apache Tomcat, Apache httpd, NGINX, Jetty and Netty - Database replication topologies(master slave, master master, sharding, partitioning etc) - Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ Idea - Code versioning tools like SVN and Git - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
-Experience in production set up, deployments - Team handling experience.
-Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UI Frameworks such as React and/or Angular 1.x PREFERRED SKILLS : - Linux - Technologies - Web services, SOAP - JDBC, JPA, JDO, JMS - Freemarker - Groovy - APIs like twitter, facebook, google, paypal etc.
