Senior Test Engineer - - We are seeking Automation testing experts for our delivery team. The successful candidate will interact with the Development Project Manager, the development, testing, and production support teams, as well as other departments within Citigroup (such as the System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Centre Operations, and Change Control groups) for TTS platforms.
-He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility.
-The candidate will be a rigorous technical resource with a strong understanding of how to build and implement scalable testing frameworks for enterprise level global applications.
-To plan and lead testing initiatives related to process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach, create / review test cases, guide and support test case execution, and perform test closure activities.
-The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. Key Responsibilities : - Responsible for providing test ownership of multiple large scale/complex global testing solutions - Build and sustain strong relationships with the senior business leaders associated with the platform - Work closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules - Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns - Compliance with Citis System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements - Monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback; understand potential speed bumps and clients true concerns/needs - Understand technology industry trends, how they impact our future solutions and provide strategic direction for the testing community - Develop and drive the Automation strategy for Automation Practice - Design the framework, approach and provide the cost-effective automation solutions to the customers - Regular monitoring and reporting for KPIs and Metrics for Automation - Work with vendor teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery - Able to conduct tool evaluation and provide recommendations. Strong experiences in Test Strategy, planning, Design & Execution - Experience in working on Java and UNIX - Experience in Automation Tools such as Selenium and Lean FT, exposure to UFT/QTP - Experience in CI/CD Methodologies and Test-Driven Methodologies - Strong Database Experience (DB2/ Oracle/ SQL) - Experience in working on BDD Technology Stack - Gherkin, Cucumber and Bitbucket - Expert level in Jira, Serenity and ALM - Experience in Defect Management (ALM, Jira) - Experience in Programming Languages viz.
