Excellent Opportunity with our MNC Clients Chennai Short notice joining Technical Skills: - Strong background in, and at least 4 years of working in QA automation - Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies like: Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, SoapUI - Experience in web technologies such as Java, JavaScript, CSS, Angular JS, Rest API - Hands on experience with automation frameworks like POM and BDD - Proficiency in MySQL queries and RDBMS.
-Proficient in performance and stress testing scaled web applications using open source tools (e.g. JMeter, etc) - Knowledge of bug tracking software (including but not limited to: JIRA, etc.) Job Description: - Actively participate in the creation the automation test scripts and test suite and author/execute the same - Actively participate in all aspects of the SDLC, including requirements, design, implementation, release and maintenance - Assist in defining and documenting the QA processes and procedures - Design test strategy and criteria defining user story acceptance - Perform the test execution for assigned stories according to acceptance criteria and using own initiative, retaining accountability for software tested - Participates in daily team meeting to be aware of ongoing activity and ensure testing coverage - Sign-off on the quality of the new builds before releases - Immediately log and communicate issues found during testing and the ability to assess the severity of the issue - Review functional/technical specs for various projects and provide feedback and sign-offs - Act as a gatekeeper for software quality, ensuring only highest quality code makes it to production - Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies Skill Set: - A solid background in investigative software quality assurance testing, including the ability to integrate QA into projects from the design and planning phase - Full SDLC lifecycle QA experience - in this role you will design test cases, execute both automated and manual testing, analyse the results, report and track defects, and ultimately make the decision on test completion and creating summary reports - Ability to work in an Agile development environment (preferably Scrum) - Prior experience working for a web start-up - A disciplined, deadline driven approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment - Experience in testing Java-based application on a Windows platform is preferred - Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills - Excellent organization, writing, communicating and interpersonal skills, and highly self-motivated - Sound judgment for balancing between idealism and pragmatism - Require minimal supervision for work tasks and guidance for development of skills and career.
