Ondot Systems - Senior IT Administrator - Windows Server/Active Directory (10-15 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

JD : - Responsible for the Systems administration on the Windows servers, Active directory services, VMware Administration and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems.
-Serves as a security systems expert in the area of system administration with security compliance awareness, procedures and documenting to meet the compliance standards. Responsibilities : - Active directory, LDAP support: Health monitoring of the corp forest and root domain - Group policy administration - Office 365 administration - Email and SharePoint - Support on Helpdesk tickets for user laptop, network and system issues - Strong research and analytical capabilities - Demonstrates the skills required to maintain security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats.
-Assist in the development of security policies and standards, compliance requirements and controls.
-Work closely with IT and Information Security Management to ensure the standards related to security architecture are followed.
-Work with IT and Information Security Management to reduce the risk of threats identified through the governance process - Assess potential risk and vulnerabilities in the network, systems and applications. Including cloud and digital based solutions.
-Analyzes security reports and makes recommendations as needed for management decisions - Strong VMware administration experience on using VMware vCenter environment - Configure and manage hardware and VM based windows and Linux server installations - System security and data integrity - Centralized windows patch management - Antivirus and vulnerability prevention management Skill and certifications : - 10 years of windows system administration - Ability to effectively communicate - both written and verbal skills - Must have excellent business and process management skills, with an analytical mind to identify improvement opportunities and able to work with the business on executing and managing projects - Bachelors degree - MS windows certifications - Industry certification is a plus (Security, CISSP, GIAC).
-VMware certification is a plus
