Asianet Digital - Director Mobile - Engineering - IIT/NIT Experience : 12- 18 years Designation : Director-Mobile Engineering Location : Bangalore Education : Bachelors / Masters in computer science or equivalent, preferably from premier institutes (IITs, NITs, BITS) About the role : We are looking for a Director of Mobile Engineering with a strong technical background and a go getter attitude. Requirements : - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking, tight deadlines environment - Successfully managed key projects inclusive of new product development and solution development for business needs - An in-depth understanding of both UX/UI architecture and product development with a principled approach to broader architectural challenges and opportunities - Conceptual understanding of different architectures and components - A team player with experience in leading and collaborating cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions for mobile related technology delivery - 4 years of managing/growing engineering teams of 10 people, with special emphasis to Mobile Technologies - Hands on experience with coding -UX/ UI - Scale up tech team and the tech platforms - Entrepreneurial nature, work as an effective leader with the CEO - Tech experience in Open Sources, Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS/Google/Azure, Open Stack, Android and iOS - Having a good understanding of UX/ UI framework, data science and machine learning - Should be language agnostic and should be able to handle projects in multi-stack products Responsibilities : - Innovate and explore new and latest technology in media space to transform Asianet News into a tech lead media-tech company - Lead the technical team to oversee the tech products, infrastructure, data, security, maintenance and network - Set and implement the technical strategy and manage the technological roadmap for Mobile Apps - Analyze Mobile apps current solution architecture & design and propose solutions that increase business value, optimize performance and enhance quality - Scale up existing mobile / iOs / android products to transform them into one of the best in media industry
