Technology Director - Project Life Cycle (6-15 Yrs) Mumbai (Systems/Product Software)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES : - Leads the thought leadership strategy and direction of the technology discipline - Leads the technology, architecture strategy and provides recommendations for new business, existing clients and/or multiple client projects.
-Creates the trusted advisor relationships - Analyze, gather, define and document technical requirements for client projects - Research and evangelize new software and applications for clients and the agency - In conjunction with Director of Production, manage and represent technology throughout all phases of client project - Identify and manage risks during scoping, build and maintenance phases - Develop and ensure proper technology process throughout project lifecycle (i.e. QA testing and bug fixing, server performance, staging and deployment) - Identify and manage technology teams, contracts, SOW and technical documentation - Develop and/or review SLA documentation - In conjunction with Project Management, define SOW, resource allocation and hours estimation - Hire, manage and train developers, as needed - Act as a developer/programmer as needed for backfill or additional resourcing REQUIRED SKILLS : - 6 years leading large technology builds (preferably in an agency environment) - A strong leader and a team player who understands how to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving organization Bachelors degree required : - Hands- on experience with the following : Drupal,.NET, PHP, Ruby- on- Rails, Java, SQL, MySQL - Advanced knowledge of and experience with HTML 5, XML, AJAX, Flash and Flex, as well as social and blogging APIs - Extensive experience with enterprise- level content management systems (including Drupal) - Extensive experience and/or knowledge of mobile technology (including iPhone and Android application development) - Familiarity with Business Intelligence systems - Broad experience interfacing with non- technical clients and possession of the ability to explain complex systems in - laymans terms.- - Experience managing multiple high- volume projects simultaneously.
-Senior- level experience working with Fortune 500, national and/or global brands
