Travel and tourism management& responsible for managing and coordinating travel arrangements for employees or clients, including booking flights, trains, hotels, and other travel-related services, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient logistics.&
Overview
A Travel Desk Executive is responsible for managing corporate and individual travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, transportation, and handling visa processing. The role involves ensuring cost-effective and seamless travel experiences while adhering to company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, experience in travel coordination, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel Arrangements & Bookings
- Coordinate and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services .
- Ensure cost-effective travel by negotiating with vendors and booking at the best rates.
- Manage both domestic and international travel for employees and clients.
- Visa & Documentation Support
- Assist in visa applications, passport renewals, and travel insurance .
- Ensure all necessary travel documents are processed and delivered on time.
- Stay updated on visa requirements, travel restrictions, and immigration rules.
- Itinerary & Schedule Management
- Prepare detailed travel itineraries for travelers.
- Coordinate travel schedules to ensure smooth transitions between locations.
- Handle last-minute travel changes, cancellations, or rescheduling.
- Expense & Budget Management
- Maintain records of travel expenses and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Process travel reimbursements and provide cost-saving recommendations.
- Work with finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Vendor & Airline Coordination
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and transport service providers .
- Maintain good relationships with vendors for exclusive deals and discounts.
- Handle disputes or issues related to travel bookings and services.
- Customer Service & Emergency Assistance
- Provide 24/7 support for urgent travel-related queries or issues.
- Assist travelers with lost luggage, flight delays, or emergency bookings.
- Ensure a smooth and stress-free travel experience for employees and clients.
