We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
:Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support for project delivery and daily operations.
:Oversee production batch processes for daily, monthly, and quarterly operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
:Apply best practices in technology, release management, and quality assurance.
:Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) and Finance Operations teams to deliver effective post:implementation production support.
:Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable solutions using IBM DataStage, Oracle Database, Unix Shell scripting, and Control:M (workload automation).
:Conduct thorough technical analysis for projects, system changes, and production implementations.
:Translate technical requirements into high:quality deliverables, ensuring a positive user experience and clear communication with stakeholders.
:Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
:Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
:A minimum of 8 years IT software development experiences in DataStage, Oracle etc.
:Proficiency in IBM DataStage for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) development, Oracle Database, Unix Shell scripting, and Control:M.
:Strong analytical and problem:solving skills, including experience in root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
:Ability to create and document functional and technical design solutions.
:Experience in testing and validating data flows to ensure data integrity and quality.
:Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a range of audiences.
:A collaborative, self:motivated, and detail:oriented approach, with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines and team objectives.
:An understanding of finance concepts, such as accounting, is advantageous.
