It operates across various segments including Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, and Treasury, serving a diverse clientele from large corporations to SMEs.Role Overview:The Relationship Manager role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of large corporate clients within the Corporate Banking division. This position involves developing strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives. The Relationship Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, including credit, product, and operations, to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue growth. The role directly impacts the bank s profitability and market share by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.Key Responsibilities:- Acquire new corporate clients by identifying and pursuing business opportunities in the target market, contributing to the bank s market share growth.- Manage and nurture relationships with existing large corporate clients by understanding their business needs and providing customized financial solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.- Develop and implement account plans for each client by identifying cross-selling opportunities and maximizing revenue potential, contributing to the overall profitability of the bank.- Structure and negotiate credit facilities, including working capital loans, term loans, and trade finance products, for corporate clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.- Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit, product, and operations, to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients, enhancing the client experience.- Monitor client performance and proactively identify potential risks by conducting regular reviews and analysis, mitigating potential losses for the bank.- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes by attending industry events and conducting research, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.Required Skillset:- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.- Proven expertise in corporate banking products and services, including credit, transaction banking, and trade finance.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Master s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field preferred.- Experience in acquisition of Current Account and Transaction Banking business from Large Corporates is essential.
