Job Description
About the Role:We are looking for someone who understands how digital advertising works and knows how to sell it confidently. This role involves selling ad space across our digital platforms.You should be comfortable speaking with marketing heads, brand managers, agencies, and business owners - and closing deals that make sense for both sides.If you ve sold digital media inventory, ad packages, sponsorships, or performance campaigns before, this role will feel familiar.Key Responsibilities:- Identify and approach potential advertisers and agencies- Sell website ad space (banner ads, sponsored articles, featured listings, etc.)- Pitch bundled ad packages including email marketing, WhatsApp campaigns, and social media promotions- Build a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals- Conduct meetings (virtual or in-person) with marketing decision-makers- Create customized media proposals and pricing plans- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals- Coordinate with internal team for campaign execution- Ensure timely payments and maintain advertiser relationships- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targetsWhat We re Looking For:- 2-5 years of experience in digital ad sales / media sales- Strong understanding of digital advertising formats (CPM, CPC, sponsorship, display ads)- Experience working with brands or marketing agencies- Confident communication and negotiation skills- Ability to independently generate leads and close deals- Target-driven mindsetGood to Have:- Existing advertiser or agency network- Experience selling niche audience platforms- Understanding of analytics and campaign reportingCompensation:- Fixed salary strong incentive structure- Commission on every deal closed- Growth opportunity into Media Sales Head role (ref:updazz.com)
